Hiking to the Saut des Trois Cornes in Guadeloupe


Saut des Trois Cornes is a magnificent waterfall located in Sainte-Rose, Guadeloupe. Nestled in the middle of the rainforest, it offers a preserved natural setting with clear water surrounded by rocks and lush vegetation. Easily accessible, it is an ideal place for a getaway in the heart of nature.


Access and Starting Point


  • Departure : Sofaïa baths car park, accessible from Sainte-Rose.

  • Duration : About 30 to 40 minutes walk to reach the waterfall.

  • Difficulty : Easy to moderate, the trail is well marked but can be slippery after rain.

The trail begins near the Sofaïa baths, famous for their sulfurous waters. A sign indicates the start of the hike. The path crosses a dense tropical forest where you can observe local species such as the white gum tree and various ferns.


Hike to the Waterfall

The trail descends gradually through lush vegetation, alternating between shaded passages and open areas. A few roots and rocks mark the route, requiring a certain amount of caution, especially in the wet season.

After a walk of about 30 minutes, the sound of water announces the arrival at the Saut des Trois Cornes. This waterfall forms a natural pool where you can cool off. The place is ideal for relaxation and offers a magnificent setting for nature and photography lovers.
